Our reliable technology and experience accumulated over the years is our guarantee
An extremely high level of skill and technology is required in order to thin lead, a soft metal, into foil-level thickness to create lead foil.
In addition, the lead and tin foil industry is shrinking year by year, likely due to the soaring value of metals.
Even under these circumstances, MATSUSHITA continues to receive orders from many customers, and is now a lead foil manufacturer that has been in business for 54 years.
We strive to improve our skills and technology, so that our customers will think of MATSUSHITA when it comes to lead and tin foil.
We can manufacture lead foil as thin as 0.05mm.
Thinning lead allows it to be used in a variety of products, expanding the range of applications.
Making the most of lead foil
The properties of lead strengthen the sound insulation of bonded materials.
In the case of lead plates, sound is converted into vibration energy and reduced.
In addition, adhesive-treated lead foil also has excellent anti-vibration properties due to the generation of relative motion without distortion.
It can be cut with regular scissors if the thickness is about 0.3mm, and its flexibility allows it to fit any shape and be easy to apply.
Main applications include balancers, architectural wallpaper, and Silentex sheets for automobiles, and we can also respond to requests regarding lamination, size, thickness, and adhesive-free lead foil to suit its intended application.
For other lead processed products and tin processed products, we accept orders for as little as a single piece, so please feel free to contact us.
